- I am a follower of Jesus first and foremost. I want the things I do to honor and bring glory to him. My interests in life are family, friends, markers, ink and pens, cycling, travel (especially by bicycle), chickens, woodworking, children's books, World War II, old cars, log homes, reading, and anything involving creativity. I am patriotic, hard working, sometimes focused, and stubborn. However, I do love change. Along with being a husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather, I have also been a sign painter, a factory worker, an airman in the United States Air Force, an architect, a pastor of student ministries, and a small business owner (Etsy). I am retired but that doesn't mean anything. With my long, long To Do Lists, I am busier now than ever before and I often tell my wife, The Queen, "I need to get a full-time job so I can get some rest." Every day's a good day to have a good day.
